About Dose of Dinner

feb

WELCOME to Dose of Dinner, a personal blog about the triumphs and trials of becoming a Physician Assistant. Follow me throughout my journey as I somehow manage to cook and survive my way through PA school.

Purpose:

This blog is mainly an extension of my Instagram which consists of my day to day. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more detailed and in depth account of my experiences that I wouldn’t be able to portray on Instagram. I hope to provide you with some additional tools and tips for your training through my own personal experiences.

This blog is also like a diary for me although without the intimate details of my life (which would be of little interest to you I can assure you). It’s fun to look back on all (and sometimes cringe at) the challenges I have overcome and recall some of the small details I would have otherwise forgotten. And just like everyone said (but I refused to believe at the time), the time does actually fly by!

Why cook?

In regards to cooking, cooking is a past-time that has provided me an outlet during PA school. It’s easy to get bogged down with studying and stress while putting yourself and your needs on the back burner. But YOU CAN prioritize yourself, have hobbies, and enjoy your life day to day in the midst of the chaos. Cooking good, flavorful food personally brings my heart (and my stomach) so much joy. To me delicious, healthy meals are ESSENTIAL to my wellbeing. I am not the person that can eat the same meals week after week. So, luckily for me switching it up and trying out new things  in the kitchen is something that I really enjoy and has become one of my favorite hobbies. My wish for you is that you are able to pursue and prioritize something in your life that brings you as much if not more joy!

I look forward to serving you a daily dose of medicine, humor, and dinner… of course! I can’t wait to show you what I can bring to the table!

Doses of love and cheeziness,
